Saiu a lista dos indicados ao Eisner Award
Saiu a lista dos indicados para o maior prêmio da indústria dos quadrinhos, o Eisner Award. Em uma versão prevísivel da disputa, os brasileiros Fábio Moon e Gabriel Bá foram indicados na categoria Melhor série limitada ou arco de história pelo gibi Daytripper. Outro brasileiro, o desenhista Rafael Albuquerque, foi indicado na categoria Melhor série nova pelo seu excelente trabalho em Vampiro Americano. As duas obras são do selo Vertigo.
Infelizmente a maioria das obras indicadas ainda não saiu no Brasil e nem vai sair antes do prêmio. Como sempre ficamos a ver navios. Pouco me interesso por premiações, mas pra mim a lista do Eisner é sempre uma boa dica de leituras.
Eu presumo que Bá e Moon ganhem o prêmio em sua categoria, apesar de terem concorrentes fortes como seu inspirador Mike Mignola (de onde eles chupinharam tudo) e Grant Morrison. Porque? Simples: a série Daytripper segue como campeã de vendas e o prêmio Eisner reflete as bem-aventuranças da indústria, assim como o Oscar no cinema.
Os vencedores serão anunciados no dia 22 de julho, durante o San Diego Comic Con.
